| Jasper, Alberta and Lake Placid, NY are amazingly both still available for sign up!With a direct flight to Edmonton, followed by a scenic bus ride, you’ll be in the town of Jasper at the Crimson Hotel, an HPSC favorite. With good sized rooms with two beds and a daily hot breakfast, followed by a short shuttle ride right outside the hotel, you’ll be on the slopes in no time! Although the ski resort, Marmot Basin, and the hotel/restaurant zone were not impacted, the town is making great progress on rebuilding the damaged areas. They are ready and waiting to welcome our group on Ontario March break. This trip offers exceptional value with six days of lift tickets! Don’t miss a visit to this iconic Canadian destination! Lake Placid is a short bus ride (approximately 6.5 hours) but has the highest vertical in the eastern USA! You’ll stay right in the town of Lake Placid at the recently renovated Grand Adirondack hotel (part of the Marriott chain) with a daily hot breakfast. The town has lots to offer including shops, restaurants, and lots of other activities and attractions related to the winter Olympics. The daily shuttle will take you to Whiteface Mountain or to one of the cross-country resorts (daily choice will be based on conditions). It’s the perfect blend of Adirondack forest natural beauty wilderness and a quaint eastern USA town. |
